How to Treat Loose Skin and Sagging Muscle

Loose skin or sagging muscles from aging or (the worst) the after-effect weight loss put one considerably insecure or in anxiety. A beautiful and fit body calls for a glowing fit skin. But no matter how much glow your face radiates, if your skin is loose, the entire glow and look of the skin would just melt away and fail to make an impression.

Loose skin or sagging muscles from aging or (the worst) the after-effect weight loss put one considerably insecure or in anxiety. A beautiful and fit body calls for a glowing fit skin. But no matter how much glow your face radiates, if your skin is loose, the entire glow and look of the skin would just melt away and fail to make an impression.

This phenomenon becomes particularly annoying when your body is not loosening because of age, but because of extreme weight loss and other such factors. In such cases, you are reduced to sitting and mulling that all that exercise and diet control that you did to get in shape hasn’t really paid off as you had expected. And though all the weight is gone, the signs that you were once fat have stayed back. It may also happen as a post-pregnancy phenomenon and this is known to be a major cause of depression among women.

But all this does not have to be that way. If you can lose all that fat from your body, then you can also defeat those nasty skin folds. All you need is a little patience, determination and some good advice.

EXERCISE regularly! Go for swimming, jogging or brisk walking regularly.

For Facial Skin

• Exercise your facial muscles regularly. If you wish to rid yourself of chubby cheeks, then follow this exercise. Smile as wide as you can. Make it more of a grin, until you feel the stretch in your cheek muscles. Now hold out your index, middle and ring fingers of both hands near your cheeks and push them against your cheeks with as much force as you can muster.

• Another exercise that works wonders with the cheek flab is the fish-mouth exercise. Close your mouth and suck in both your cheeks to the maximum possible extent. Do this over and over again and you will surely get rid of those chubby cheeks.

Double chin is another problem area with respect to loosened skin. Close your mouth and tilt your head back so that you face the ceiling. Now make chewing motions with your closed mouth and move your chin up and down. Do this about 100 times a day.

• Looking for tightening up skin around your jaw and neck so that you have a visible jaw line? Close your mouth. Keep you lips relax and tight. Push your jaw and chin toward your lips over and over again. Do not do this in a chewing motion. Do not move your mouth or lips at all. Just your chin and jaw need to be moved.

• Ice water is a natural anti-aging agent. Wash your face with ice-cold water at least 4-5 times a day to tighten your loose skin.

For Loose Abdominal Skin

• Swimming is the best exercise for people who intend to lose abdominal skin folds fast.

• Exercises of all sorts may not be equally beneficial for this purpose. Hence, focus on the more rigorous exercises like sit ups, push-ups and running.

• Stomach crunches are again the most effective and fastest way of getting rid of stomach folds. It also builds the flexibility and prominence of the abs. Before getting up after a night sleep, do some cruches 10 times and increase it after sometime.

• The simplest way of course is to keep your stomach muscles tightened throughout the day. Make sure you suck in your stomach when you are driving or watching TV or even working in your office.

General Tips

• The most effective way to lose overall body skin folds is to stay hydrated. Drink approximately 8 glasses of cold water a day. It will not only tighten your skin but also flush out toxins from your body.

• Switch to Vitamin E and Virgin Coconut Oil. They have a tremendous effect on skin and the tightening of the entire body. Eat about 3 tablespoons of Virgin coconut oil a day.

• Massaging is another method people swear by. It helps the skin in rebuilding its elasticity. Use mustard oil for best result.
